AttorneyStars helps people find the right attorney for their situation — quickly, and without a sales pitch. Our directory is organized the way people actually look for legal help: by the type of problem and the city where they live.

How listings work

Every attorney and law firm can have a free profile. Profiles start from public information or the firm’s own submission, and attorneys can claim their profile to keep it accurate. We verify bar admission before a profile is marked as claimed.

How results are ordered

• Featured listings appear first. These are paid placements for a specific city and practice area, and they are always labelled “Featured.”
• Claimed profiles come next, followed by unclaimed listings.
• Within each group, listings are ordered by profile completeness — how much useful information the profile provides.

We do not sell rankings beyond the clearly labelled Featured placement, and we do not publish ratings we cannot verify.

AttorneyStars is an online directory and advertising platform. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not a lawyer referral service. Choosing an attorney is an important decision; we encourage you to speak with more than one lawyer and to confirm their license with your state bar.
