Frequently asked questions

Where exactly does a Featured profile appear?

At the top of the results page for your city and chosen practice area (for example, “Personal Injury Lawyers in Tampa, FL”), above organic results, and in the city’s main attorney list. Featured listings are clearly labelled as paid placements.

How are non-featured listings ordered?

Claimed profiles appear before unclaimed ones, then listings are ordered by profile completeness — description, contact details, photo, credentials and hours. Completing your profile is the best free way to rank higher.

Can I be Featured in more than one city or practice area?

Yes. Each Featured placement covers one city and one practice area, and you can add as many as you like.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. Your placement stays active until the end of the current billing period, and your free profile remains listed.

Is AttorneyStars a lawyer referral service?

No. AttorneyStars is an advertising directory. We do not recommend or refer specific attorneys, and we do not take a share of legal fees. Attorneys are responsible for ensuring their listing complies with their state’s advertising rules.
